CANADIAN ARTIST JEWELL ALLINGTON

'After a successful and fulfilling nursing career, I decided I needed another avenue to express my passion for life!... so in my mid sixties, I picked up a pencil and brush (with great trepidation and intimidation!)
and followed a unknown drive and instinct for producing art.

Any success on this journey, I owe to the fine teachings of Ann Cavanagh, Mary McLoughlin and Lucy Manley.

I have had the opportunity to exhibit my work in many settings throughout Peterborough, Port Hope, Cobourg and Coe Hill and presently in this gallery.

l hope that you are attracted to my bold strokes of light and dark hidden passages... for nature in it's beauty draw us all to look more deeply.
